After the final bell, learning continues through our dynamic after-school program. From 3 to 5 PM, students engage in hands-on activities like VEX Robotics, garden club, and journalism, while also receiving support in reading, writing, and homework. With Young Astronauts, Makerspace projects, drama, orchestra, and Leader in Me activities, afternoons at Carver-Washington Magnet are filled with creativity, confidence-building, and community. The after-school program serves 100 students with free transportation from school to home.

Using advanced tools like 3D printers, virtual reality, and GIS mapping, they design projects that solve community problems.
